Go for a Alpaca Walk or Picnic – discover the delightful Mountview Alpaca Farm at Canungra Valley Vineyards
Originally based on the Lamington Plateau on the way to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, the Mountview Alpaca Farm relocated to our Vineyards in early 2017 after Cyclone Debbie. Facilities were soon established and a new gift shop opened later that year – making the Alpacas a permanent and welcome addition at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards.

Guests simply love spending time, walking and getting to know the various Alpaca personalities and babies found on the farm – including Ed Sheeran, Pancake, Chico, Timtam and Macca plus many more new furry friends.
You can feed the Alpacas for only $3 by purchasing Alpaca food from the Gift Shop or make a new furry friend for life by taking an Alpaca on a 15min or 30 min walk around our lush creekside property (Alpaca lead!). You can even make a day of it by getting extra Alpaca time with a vineyard picnic basket, breakfast hamper or a bottle of wine.
