Whether you’re sharing stories with family after a day on the trails, relaxing by the fire with friends, or enjoying sunset views. Dining here goes beyond the plate; it’s part of the journey.

Choose from three unique ways to dine: sip on O’Reilly’s Artisan wines or a refreshing beer while taking in the views from the Rainforest Bar, or enjoy a hearty buffet meal in our heritage Dining Room. For those seeking a more casual bite before heading out on an adventure, visit the Mountain Café. With fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, every dish brings the Scenic Rim to your plate.

The Dining Room

At the heart of O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, The Dining Room is a place to gather, unwind and share stories from the day’s adventures. Set within our historic, 100-year-old dining room, guests can enjoy relaxed buffet-style breakfasts and seasonal buffet dinners inspired by fresh, local produce.

In the evening, settle in for a nourishing dinner paired with selected wines, including our very own O’Reilly’s labels. As night falls over the rainforest, keep an eye on the viewing windows — you may spot a Brushtail Possum or Sugar Glider making a quiet appearance at the feeding station outside.

The Dining Room is open daily for buffet breakfast from 7:00am, with guests asked to be seated no later than 9:00am. Dinner is served from 5:30pm until late.

The Rainforest Bar

Set above Reception, the Rainforest Bar is the perfect place to unwind after a day of rainforest adventures. Cool off with a crisp craft beer, enjoy a chilled glass of O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley wine, or settle in with your favourite cocktail as you take in sweeping views across the McPherson Ranges.

Relax by the log fire, step out onto the balcony for sunset, or stay a little longer as the evening sky settles over the rainforest canopy. With a generous selection of local and imported beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, along with light meals, house-baked pizzas and share-style cheese boards, it’s an inviting space for couples, families and friends to gather.

The Rainforest Bar is open daily from 4:00pm, and we look forward to welcoming you.

O’Reilly’s Mountain Café & Gift Shop

A favourite stop for guests and day visitors alike, O’Reilly’s Mountain Café is the perfect place to pause, refuel and take in the beauty of O’Reilly’s. Fully licensed and overlooking the sweeping Scenic Rim, the café offers a relaxed mountain setting for hikers, families and friends to gather after the scenic drive or a day exploring the rainforest.

Stop in for a freshly brewed coffee, enjoy a warm scone, or treat the kids to an ice cream after the journey up the mountain. The menu features a wholesome selection of wraps, toasties, sandwiches, fresh salads, quiches, locally baked treats, cakes and desserts.

While you’re here, take time to browse the adjoining Gift Shop, home to gourmet snacks, O’Reilly’s artisan wines, branded merchandise and a thoughtful range of gifts and keepsakes to take home.

When the café kitchen is closed, drinks and snacks are available next door at the Mini Mart & Takeaway, which also stocks everyday essentials for guests staying in the Villas.
