49th Annual Bird Week

Join bird lovers for Australia’s longest running birding program – the 49th Annual O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat Bird Week.

From the 1st to the 8th of November, 2026 –  birders will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of Australia’s most well-known bird researchers, authors and photographers as they spot over 200 species of the 230 varieties residing in our World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park – which is home to Australia’s largest collection of sub-tropical birds.
