Starting from O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, this guided E-Bike Tour takes you on an immersive 20 km journey through lush rainforest and into the stunning eucalypt belt of Lamington National Park. Covering more ground than you could on foot, this experience allows you to explore further, connect more deeply, and truly absorb the beauty and stillness of the mountain.
Along the way, there is time to pause, listen for birds, look for animal tracks, and take in the ever-changing landscape. You may even spot a koala or other iconic wildlife that call Lamington home. The tour also follows parts of the historic route where the O’Reilly family originally settled on the mountain, with highlights including John Shephard Lookout, Belson’s Lookout and the Stockyard Creek Track.
Led by expert guide Matt, the experience offers more than just a scenic ride. With stories of local history, insights into the natural environment, and a relaxed billy tea in the bush along the way, it is a memorable opportunity to discover the mountain in a meaningful and adventurous way. On a clear day, you may even enjoy sweeping views across the Scenic Rim and all the way to the Brisbane CBD.
